If you still haven't got it done, please follow the next steps, and you'll be able to play all the retro games on your console:

STEP-BY-STEP INSTALLATION ON STEAM DECK

  1. Switch to Desktop Mode:
  • Press the Steam button on the Steam Deck.
  • Go to the "Power" section.
  • Select "Switch to Desktop" and wait for a few seconds.
  1. Download and Install EmuDeck:
  • Open a web browser (such as Chrome or Firefox).
  • Visit the official EmuDeck website at "emudeck.com".
  • Download the installer.
  • Copy the installer to your desktop and run it from there.
  • When prompted, choose between the easy or expert installation mode. For the first time, it's recommended to use the easy mode, as you can customize it later according to your needs.
  1. Follow the Installation Instructions:
  • During installation, you will be asked to select the emulators you want to install. Make sure to review the complete list of emulators and choose the ones you want to use (I would recommend All).
  1. Add ROMs and BIOS:
  • Place your ROMs in the corresponding folder: "/Emulation/roms".
  • Place the necessary BIOS files in the corresponding folder: "/Emulation/bios".
  • Within these folders, inside each folder, place the respective ROMs. For example, place ROMs for "psx" in the "emulation/roms/psx" folder, and similarly for BIOS, leave the BIOS for "psx" in "emulation/bios/psx".
  1. Configure Steam Rom Manager:
  • Open Steam Rom Manager, a program that allows you to customize game covers and add them to Steam to open them directly from there in Game Mode.
  • Click on "Preview" and then "Generate Application List".
  • Customize the game information according to your preferences.
  • Finally, click on "Save Application List".
  1. Return to Game Mode:
  • Go back to Game Mode using the link on the desktop.
  1. EASY AND QUICK VIDEO TUTORIAL I'll also leave you a link to an easy and quick tutorial to get EmuDeck running on your Steam Deck and how to add games:
